Don't Miss the Television Debut of Constitution USA

Today, I was introduced to Peter Sagal. Not personally, but online. Although Peter is the host of a popular TV program, "Wait, Wait ... Don't Tell Me, I had not heard of him before. As I read, I was delighted at what he had to say.

To my delight, as I read about his new project, I found another Patriot who loves to ride Harley Davidsons, wanting to open up a conversation about our Constitution.

What makes the Constitution a successful document, says Sagal, is less the document itself than the people’s willingness to believe in it. (He says, “You could say it’s worked, with an asterisk.”)

“The Constitution is only as alive as we collectively have decided it is today,” he said. ”I’ve been calling it the Tinkerbell of national charters because Tinkerbell only lives if you clap, right? Or if you say, ‘I do believe in fairies, I do!’ It’s like this: ‘I do believe in civics, I do!’ And everybody believes in it, and we move on. And it’s an amazing phenomenon.”

“Constitution USA” debuts on PBS on May 7.

I know I for one, will be watching.

Won't you join me?

Oil Country

Freedom Glide - Sun Coming Up - Ready to Ride
Sun Up - Heading for Wild West Harley in Lubbock, TX - April 5th, 2013
As my eyes flicker open each morning, my first thought is always to say "Thank you, Lord, for giving me this day." Then, "Where am I?"
I woke up this morning in oil country.
I am at the Black Diamond Inn, Seminole, Texas.

The feel, the sounds and the smells scream "Big Oil Country." An entire article is in the works on this place, and this industry.

What as eye opener yesterday as I visited with many of the locals.
Although I did not meet one person who was originally from here. They are all here for the money.

I loved the people I met in West Texas. These are real folks, ready to help out on a moments notice.

I found that the stories that were shared with me by these Americans I met along the road, did not quite match up with what is often reported on the news.

My challenge for all of us today is this, don't be content with our current belief system.
Go deeper. Be a sleuth for the truth.

The real truth backed by the facts is yet to be uncovered.

These next 36 months will be exciting, eye-opening and life changing for me. Will you join me?
All of us can "Be the change we wish to see in America."

Be empowered. Be happy. And ride safe through the gauntlet of life.

Featured Harley-Davidson Dealer of the Week

Meeting new people has been my favorite of the ride. Cajun Harley-Davidson was staffed with extremely friendly southerners. Thanks for the great reception.
